Viewing Wish #38: Anti-Laming/Stacking-Statsrecording

Description 3 New stats to decrease stacking and laming:

1. Race stats! (calculated from the kills)
Example: 33% humans, 77% beasts)

2. Playerdamage/Kills (D/K ratio)
Example: 540 hp / kill

3. Karma ranking!
Playing in a team with 60% more kills gives -1 karma, in a team with 100% more kills -2 karma and with 200% more kills -3 karma. Unstacking teams gives you the same karma amount in positive values.
-> Make this karma ranking yellow or green to show that it is important.

An idea to integrate into the Kills per minute addon by Sweet (or make it seperate): Change the playername colour depending on wether a player is a beast or a human player (maybe with different shades of green and cyan).

Darkbread, I think it would really make people stacking less and carring more about the enjoyment off all. Especially statswhores don't care about stacks and to integrate karma into stats would get them where it hurts.

The only problem I see with it Tirza is if the player is the stack. You can hardly hold it against someone if he/she has say for eg. 200 kill personally and the team collectively has 400, the other team only has 300 kills which is still 100 kills more than the first team if the player was to discounted. How is it fair that they lose karma for that?

I agree, the karma score should be disabled when one player has 60% of the kills in a (stacked) team or more (since he could play in any team and it would be a stack).

(2) is done in the stats display so no changes are required to the server.
(3) is denied for now until a lot more discussion takes place (it will probably be implemented in the future).

Ok, I got some better solution:

In the end of every game there will be a value recorded and added: yourteam_teamscore/otherteam_teamscore. This value will be divided with the totally played won and lost games.

Value 1 would despribe a fair players.
Value 1.5 a player with rather high stacking behaviour.

New concept (kill amount relative):



Temporary stats for each match
player_teamstats:     Teamstats (kills) of the own team
other_teamstats:      Teamstats (kills) of the other team
teamstats_ratio:       (player_teamstats / other_teamstats)
player_kills:              Kills of the player

Written stats to the database
stacking_value1:      (stacking_value1 + player_kills * teamstats_ratio)
stacking_value2:      (stacking_value2 + player_kills) (is identical with the total kill amount of a player,
                              but needs to be separated since kills can be recorded without XR client as well)
player_stack:           (stacking_value1 / stacking_value2)

teamstats_ratio:      1.467

green marked          0.0 - 1.2
yellow marked         1.2 - 1.6

The green marking goes above 1.0 due to legit stacks like one-man-stacks.
