What sound card do you have have? Are the drivers up to date?

start -> run -> msinfo32
file -> save (this will take a long time) Please zip the generated NFO file and attach EDIT: If you have not already, please make sure you update all your system drivers and reinstall XR. |

Not sure if it's the same thing but on occasion I've noticed that sounds cut out for around 2 seconds than returns. Seemed to happen particularly when tempesting as beast.
I use a plantronics usb headset. Here's the nfo: |
