Viewing Bug #349: Props bugged on SFE server!
Category Map Editor Posted By H3027 Last Updated Oct 22, 2009
Assigned to Not Assigned Status Unconfirmed Priority Very High
Affected Products XR Windows
Description All props have a bugged unit collision and make you lag when you save a map in the XR editor and load them on a SFE server. I found out about this when I made the map "om" and tested it on Girls Matches. I simply had to create the map in the XR editor and save it in the SFE editor to fix the prop bug. Unfortunately all new maps show the same bugs, which is especially annoying when someone puts big bridges on his map and melee fights on it are impossible because the bug interupts your leaps and stutters your movement. This is a mayor bug!

Can you give me a test case, and a way to reproduce it?

Load Aneurysms new maps on a SFE server (they are all made with the XR editor). Then walk over a random prop and your unit will shutter.

I've noticed some collision bugs with:
SFE Client, on XR server.
The map was new so it probably was saved in xr editor.

Download 7zip and make it your default program. Or check where the path in Winzip options is pointing at.

Okay. Everyone needs to set Autorecord demos on from Savage options then and hope it happens

@Nanaa: i've heard of this bug before but we need some sort of extra info like a demo and data to help us recreate it. (well, Clemens :P )

Apologies about today's downtime, we had a few issues with an OS upgrade. Should all be working now though :)
