Ask for help on ati support/tech forum.
You asked why Crysis works on this pc and sav isnt. Thats because Crysis uses DirectX libraries which are made for windows only. Savage is multiplatform game(windows/linux) so its not using directx for rendering stuff.
is a proprietary API that provides functions to render three dimensional graphics, and uses hardware acceleration if it is available on the graphics card. It was designed by Microsoft Corporation for use on the Windows platform.
is an open standard API that provides a number of functions for the rendering of 2D and 3D graphics and is available on most modern operating systems
. If hardware 3D acceleration is present, OpenGL can use it.
PS. Download OpenGL Extensions Viewer for windows xp/vista (should work fine on windows 7) and you will be able to check if OpenGL rendering works on your pc.http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/download.html
