Easily solved, install your graphics driver from ati.com or nvidia.com  Afro

Lets check what opengl version your graphic card supports:

ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4500 Series Product Features

    * 242 million transistors on 55nm fabrication process
    * Unified Superscalar Shader Architecture
    * Microsoft® DirectX® 10.1 support
   * OpenGL 2.0 support      -2.0>1.2 wohoo!
    * GDDR3/DDR3/DDR2 memory interface (depending on model) – PCI Express 2.0 x16 bus interface
    * 80 stream processing units
    * 12x custom filter anti-aliasing (CFAA) and high performance anisotropic filtering
    * ATI Avivo™ HD video and display technology1
          o Unified Video Decoder 2 (UVD 2) for Blu-ray™ and HD Video
          o DVD Upscaling
          o Dynamic Contrast
          o Built-in HDMI with 7.1 surround sound support
          o DisplayPort™ with audio

Searching for driver for ati mobility radeon HD 4500 -windows 7 beta.. Download driver from this link(driver upload date: 9/9/2009):
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx

Download, install, restart pc and try to start savage. It should work if its not working.. then its something with driver/win 7 x64 compatibility Tongue Ask for help on ati support/tech forum.

You asked why Crysis works on this pc and sav isnt. Thats because Crysis uses DirectX libraries which are made for windows only. Savage is multiplatform game(windows/linux) so its not using directx for rendering stuff.

   1. Direct3D is a proprietary API that provides functions to render three dimensional graphics, and uses hardware acceleration if it is available on the graphics card. It was designed by Microsoft Corporation for use on the Windows platform.
   2. OpenGL is an open standard API that provides a number of functions for the rendering of 2D and 3D graphics and is available on most modern operating systems. If hardware 3D acceleration is present, OpenGL can use it.

PS. Download OpenGL Extensions Viewer for windows xp/vista (should work fine on windows 7) and you will be able to check if OpenGL rendering works on your pc.
