Just installed savage on my laptop and installed sfe then tried update to xr, its fine until the files starting with XR\game\models\samurai\buildings\t_wood_normalmap.tga and it then says there was an error while trying to copy, source file is corrupt. Ignoring moves to the next file but the same occurs for at least the next 20 files. Any ideas?

Thanks Pink

xr is already standalone. no need to try to put it on top of sfe*.
try uninstalling all, delete game folder and just install xr.

Re-download XR from another mirror (NOT UK!). The UK one seems to lack some files. Try the german, US or AUS mirror and it should work.

Lack files? How so and if that's the cause the installer needs to be urgently replaced.

If you don't mind testing to see what is causing the problem.

I downloaded from the UK server and I had no problems at all. Undecided
