Have few questions:
1. Does coil have anything like "bullet time" till target ? Or it shoots without any time...
2. If...it shoots without any time, is it possible to make mod for coil like... q3 rail ? One constant line without anim. and without fadings...?

1. whats bullet time?
For.ex ... pulse.
I'm targeting someone, pressing mouse1 and pulse goes to target for ex. 1 second. Coil - when I'm looking on target and pressing m1 - does target get damage at once or is there any time btw this events ?

He means the velocity and yes, there is a very slight delay in the velocity so try to aim slightly ahead of your target with the coil rifle

I think drk means that the projectile (bullet) doesn't travel to your target instantaneously. In other words, its speed is not PEW PEW REALLY FAST.

Basically coil has about 3 times the speed of full load mmbow. It's not completely instant like flux/surge, but there's no difference between them, only thing that affects aim at that speed is your ping (oh, and SEP fucks up aiming as well, but I can't explain how, it's a mistery). Also, quake rail:

efedit coilrifle_trail
vfEdit 0
vfSet visclass "null"
vfEdit 1
vfSet lifetime 600 600
vfSet size 1.5 1.5
vfSet growth 0 0
vfSet angle 30 30

add this to your /gui/standard/ui_status_player.cfg or edit effect file directly (/effects/coilrifle_trail.effect).

Thanks en!

You need to change shader to something from crossbow, the default shader for coil is red itself, so it won't colour correctly. Then just use rgb 0-1.
