I just tried to upload my most recent early work in progress.

The uploaded file is not a valid map file! { 2712 }

Please explain.

I have a new map with xr effects and such, created and saved in the xr test editor.  It is currently saved as xr_amazon.

I think it has to do with the fact that you probably effects or triggers.

I have some effects in it.  I used the bonfire_1 stock script and fixed it up so it actually looks like a bonfire.  I'll post my settings for you later when I have time.

No triggers in the map yet, but I have a spot for one I haven't added.  (Pretty fountain with green sparkles!)

There is no problem with your map, the problem is with the uploader which does not support effects.
That is why u need to ask notausgang to fix this for you.

Take good note of what the variables are named.  If you want an effect to cover a bigger area, either change the size of the particles, or raise the "voffset" which makes them spawn farther from the emitter... stuff like that.

Also, look through the "Full" list rather than the abbreviated (Abbrev.) one if you can't find a variable to change what you want.

If you are just playing around, try making more extreme changes in numbers.  Give something some really large values and then some really small values and it will give you a better idea of how that variable affects the effect.  Grin
