There are so many, but here goes a few of my favs. Just my opinons though.

Cheesey Movie = Princess Bride and/or Space Balls

Action = LOTR/Star Wars series

Comedy = Jay and silent Bob Strike Back (or anything by Kevin Smith. All Monty Python too)

Fantasy =  Legend/Dragon Heart

Horror = Puppet Master I, II, and III

The list could go on but not enough time.

Worst Movies
Anything with Julia Roberts or Leonardo DiCaprio

'Once upon a Time in Mexico' (and all other films from Rober Rodriguez (without spy kids - maybe worst films))
'Pulp fiction' and someone said before 'life of brain' and the 'holy grail'
'X-Men', 'Daredevil'
'LotR'

and also important 'The Big Lebowski'

Worst film: Titanic, Lord of the Rings 3 (such BAD acting and terrible gay story!  Sad)

Best Film: Could be Matrix or Dune, but only if they had decent actors, so i go with Leon, Ronin, Alien 1, 2001 Space Odissey, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. StrangeLove...

Favourite: Kill Bill 1

Comedy: Life of Brian, Titanic (i watched it drunk with some friends  Grin)

funny movies: monty python. Titanic, when it starts sinking. (leonardo dies, muhaha.)  Snatch.
movie i am waiting for: Titanic 2 (2 options there, i hope both were a joke, but i'd love the first one, a horror movie 'Titanic 2: Jack is back.'  Jack could make an excellent serial killer. or some freaky stuff about defreezing an icecube thus bringing the gayass back to life in what's the future for him and the present for us. with a bit of luck he kils himself at the end.)
good movies: Riddick. Pitch Black. Braveheart. Gladiator. Reservoir dogs. That movie of which i forgot the title that involves a yakuza who goes to america, forms a gang and whipe out other gangs till they mess with the mafia and get wiped out themselves.
good movies with flaws in their storyline (some stuff that appears illogical to me and stuff)  but still some nice scenes in them: Star wars, Lotr, matrix(1,2,3). Usually the last one is rather 'wtf is that?' and the first few movies are ok.

I'll recommend this gem. Always loved it since I saw it as a kid. Suprised a direct to TV movie could be so good, really great actors.

Treasure Island (1990) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100813/

Make sure you get this version and none else of Treasure island though, there's alot of crappy ones out there. It's not very easy to find, managed to find a torrent for it a while back though http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/439513/Treasure_Island_1990_TV_secret_cinema_com
