The Rampaging Gentlemen are looking for experienced - and above all - friendly members.
Clan history:The original RaGe was a skilled clan during the times of EX2 and was quite famed in the day. Since then RaGe had many troubled times; members leaving, internal struggles and eventually it was pronounced dead. But a couple of loyal members were to stay, and at the time SFE was first released it began recruiting members again.
During this time I started playing Savage and RaGe looked like they were revived, winning some matches and having a close and active group of members. But this period eventually ended aswell since the re-rectuiting was done very hastly, and there was not really paid attention on who were recruited, following allot of inactive members and accounts getting hacked. Our old core members left or went inactive (Reinis/Jezus/Knightlore ect) and our clanleader (Sibuna) was being heard of very often. Only a small group of players were left, and there was noone left to lead us.
RaGe has become quite notorious becouse of it's rather tempered players. RaGe members swearing, being lame and generally unfriendly were no exeption. This is the exact opposite thing the original RaGe was meant to do; focussing on a nice personality rather than skills. We aim for this original idea and will try to only accept players we know well. If you are not quite known you will be judged hard on personality and skill alike.
Current situation:Many players (vets and noobs alike) think RaGe is a dead clan, goign down under internal struggle. While this is partly true (we have been struggeling allot) RaGe won't be dead for a while. And with the recruiting of new members, having a new site+forum and a fresh start with some new recruits we are hoping to deliver a friendly and mature clan experience.
At the moment we are quite a small group of players who know eachother well, and while appearing a bit sarcastic sometimes, we're generally good guys (exept for cocky, who you will meet in our forums). We don't have a fixed leader, but we rather have a "core" of people who do all the organisation and recruiting and stuff. We think disputes should be solved between eachother and if it goes to far there will be someone to tell you to stfu.
There are 2 divisions, one with players from the Europe and one with players from the US. We're sharing the same site and forums, but are diffrent in organisation and are playing in seperate leagues (although we use subsitutes when too few are able to play). This recruitment post is only meant for the EU division, but if you're from America you can always try to apply for RaGeUSA.
Our skill is somewhat above average, and we seek to improve induvidual aswell as "squad" and clan skill. Our first NSL did not go that well becouse of our clan being so messy, but the new organisation hopefully gets us back on track.
Recruiting information:If you are intrested register at our forums and fill in the aplication form. A member vote and a background check will follow, and if everything looks fine you have a big chance of wearing a RaGe tag soon.
I must warn you though, becouse we want to be carefull who we recruit there are numberous requirements to join us. Most of these are pretty standard and eazy to follow, and the average player should not have any problems with them.
