Hello all!, i used the search function and it did come up with a topic however, the person who posted it did not give enough information and it was discontinued http://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,3806.0.html.

I have downloaded the version of Savage with the SFE patch included, i have also tried installing savage off the game cd and then installed the SFE patch but in both cases when i load up the game it crashes.

Without the SFE patch installed there is no problem.

I have 512mb
CPU 2.80GHz
Radeon 9800 Pro

Any help would be much appriciated!

In your savage folder you should find a debug.log.
Could you send the contains of that.

Have you uninstalled previous versions, delted folders. Then downloaded this version http://www.newerth.com/?id=downloads&op=displayDownload&category=1&file=SFE-Standalone.zip unzipped into a savage folder, applied patch from that page and then clicked on silverback.exe?

Sorry if you have George, wasn't sure from your post.

Another thing is make sure you got the latest drivers for your card from www.ati.com
