If you wanna play savage with this, get yourself a vga-card.
If its just for office and internet a 350-400 in more then enough.

idd recooment this one:

http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/accessories/0,39100116,49294432,00.htm

dont mind what the review says, it got 9000 points with 3dmark, while the 8600 GTS counterpart from nvidea only got 5000 +it got some killer ass HD video support and it cheap and it looks cool

i got the MSI 8600GT OC for only 80 euros, wich is a hell of a bargain, maybe you should get that one, with a pen4 3mhz and meare 1 gig ram I get a constant 60 fps with savage

400 euros for a video card.. rich bastards :p

impossible to know without knowing

- how many hard disks/opticals
- what graphics you going to go for...do not use the onboard one, it's crap

if it's single hard disk/optical and something like 3850 then 400 watt will do fine.

What you looking to acheive sheep? Do you have a budget? A preference of Intel/AMD/Nvidia? If you want some options for around a certain price I can post urls to bits.

:edit. Note these new mobos only have 1 IDE slot so using legacy hard disks/opticals can be a pain.

Not sure it's worth it, according to http://en.expreview.com/?p=159&page=1 the 512MB 8800GT is slightly faster than the 1GB

Because GainWard 8800GT 1024MB is a factory Overclocked version, we flashed its BIOS, lower the frequency to 600/1800/1500MHz(Core/Memory/Shader).

they did cheat the test though. Smiley

Not sure, I think they just flashed the BIOS back to default as the other cards were not factory overclocked so it would be a fair test. The 256MB card looks rubbish as they have crippled the ram on purpose :/
