u dont get it takz, they said it will be removed but not from all units, i think that at least pred will have it

leap will be replaced with something similar for some units in savage 2, they will use a combo based melee system.

oh yea sorry ur right, it was a long time ago since i read it Smiley &  i was talking about this: "That said, our current plan doesn't involve the beast race all leaping instead of blocking." & i forgot about the other part: " All of the units are going to have the same basic combat moves (there is actually going to be *more* than just the attack/defend that Savage had)" well maby i was sleepy then Tongue i still hope they make leap at least for pred  Grin

wanna know what i heard, you get experience same as you do in savage 1, but you can choose what skills you have, like an rpg, it gets better, apparently your stats modify on what skills you choose, like an ancher or a defender cool init Afro

I also heared, that in the beginning the teams will have to claim some areas from some "mighty" npcs guarding them. Something like m oines or pits where artefacts r to b found? so it would be like a tech rush in the first phrase of game, and less fighting the other team. Shocked

hey I had an cool idea for savage2 - wouldnt it be great, if u could set in the player settings if you're right or left handed? Then wearing the shield or making the first move could be different, resulting in cool situations that you stand in front of a lefthanded enemy and you have to switch your melee technique to that, otherwise he'll pawn you in a way you don' expect hehe. what you think of that? ..would it be a big technical (developing) issue?

Just too much of a work for a small team I think :] But that's a good idea.. Maybe newbie-proof tho.
