Hi there,

Its been a long time but I just installed savage again  Smiley.
Are there any tweaks like scripts or recommended settings that I should use on my Windows 10 small, low res screen laptop in 2019? The options menu is totally overhauling.

Specific questions on:
1. recommended crosshair color / settings
2. recommended network settings on ingame options menu (net bps / frames per second / max packet size) for a 50mbit connection
3. recommended VOIP settings - I can finally hear myself after setting music volume down, this was confusing. Anyhow, great function, could be useful for commanding!
4. Cel shading - does anyone actually use this? I copied Shagroth's graphic settings and he had it turned off (via https://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,18713.0.html but I wondered if it could help on my small screen. Note: see this for additional info on cel shading https://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,18580.0.html
5. settings or config to see more far - this fog is annoying!
6. disable chat notifications of weapons/unit requests being granted/denied
7. disable jumping under a certain stamania threshold
8. bind to set (ranged) sensitivity to a certain level when using f.ex. scattergun

What I found out:
- turn off mouse acceleration by going to Mouse settings > Advanced > Pointer Options > uncheck 'enhance pointer precision' (via https://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,626.0.html)
- switch grass off in ingame options menu to see enemy mines. Shouldn't everyone be forced to have the same setting here..?

Love and thanks Smiley.

Hello.

1. Whatever you like. Default is good.
2. Definitely ignore all of that.
3. It's not working properly - ignore. There are preset voice commands ingame though.
4. It's a purely visual thing that may or may not be to your liking.
5. If it's the 'fog' fog, it's map-based. If by fog you mean that yellowish thing on your screen, it's the "glow screen" you may disable.
6. Leave it.
7. Should be off.
8. Should go with dual sensitivity, one for melee, one for ranged.

Hi & thanks, also for that quick reply !!

3. Too bad, I was excited for that!
6. I hope someone else knows a workaround for these request notifications Here an outstanding visualization of what I mean in case it wasn't clear:
7. Sprinting is disabled when hitting 20 stamania. As beast, leaping is also blocked around that point. However, jumping is still possible for both races past 20 stamania.
8. What i mean was a 'dual weapon sensitivity'. Maybe it's easier to get a new mouse with sensitivity buttons if I can find a silent one.

7. There is no "jump conserve" built-in but it's not adviced anyways. Bunnyhopping downhill and bouncing after leaping let you reach places much faster.

8. If you have dual sens in use:

Code:
bind kp_1 set cl_sensitivity_range 13.750000
bind kp_2 set cl_sensitivity_range 16.500000

(kp_1 = numpad 1)

If no dual sens, use "sensitivity" instead of "cl_sensitivity_range".
