If you have PlayOnLinux successfully installed on your Linux Distro you can find Savage XR in its Officially Support Software Games section.

Thought it might be worth trying to add Savage XR to PlayOnLinux:
 *
https://www.playonlinux.comSo I've written an install script that work ok for me, download the latest tagged version of the script from here:
 *
https://gitlab.com/sea-eye-aya/unofficial-savage-xr-flatpak/tags?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=playonlinuxCode repository branch is here:
 *
https://gitlab.com/sea-eye-aya/unofficial-savage-xr-flatpak/tree/playonlinuxIf you have PlayOnLinux installed already (its in the standard Debian/Ubuntu software repositories so its easy to install) you can run the script by selecting the "
Tools->Run a local script" menu item and selecting the
playonlinux-install-savagexr.bash script.
Choose the default install location and settings.
Either leave the login details blank for Guest account or create a User Account to have your Stats and Ranking recorded.
There is quite a lot to PlayOnLinux checklist before it gets in:

http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/How_to_Contribute_a_ScriptSo shall be updating this post as I go, probably should put the script in a code repo at some point too.
Hope someone finds it useful to playing/installing Savage XR.
