Feathers and Maniak are proud to present you the Newerth Duel Competition Season 2. It is a Double Elimination Tournament. Please note Winner takes all in the final match regardless if a player has a lose. The HvH tourney structure would depend on the amount of participants (League or double Elimination). I assume that the tournament will be organised using the new XR_Duel maps right?
I really look forward to watching the shoutcasts!

I guess the new XR maps aren't supporting my hax? Sad

Well, have fun and end the competition as fast as possible - I want to see next NSl coming up in autumn, hopefully more people will return to the game after vacations.

about the winner prize, you really think sword can replace axe? btw the sword is too short..it won't look good if you swing it like axe

I guess you know that for sure, unlike me who made it to match axe's size and movements Cheesy. Don't get fooled by the half of the axe that's "unused", because the Lego grabs the axe by its handle's middle section, not the back, where it should.

P.S. It's already being used by Bobbe. Along with the shield, they will be passed on to whomever wins the competition.

The horizontal black line above which the unit hand grip is. (the 1st sword is for the savage)

but there is difference swinging a sword and an axe with the same motions, axe is heavy weapon, its really the opposite of a sword

I've seen it in action and it works nicely. :p
The only difference is that you're not used to it.

Frankly, why would an axe be heavier than a sword? The lego axe is mostly out of wood. :p
(If anything, front-heavy.)

that's the point, if front is heavy you swing like that..the motions and the sword is not compatible

You make big swings with big swords, too, though. Smiley

I totally get what Ultima is saying, however there were many heavy swords wielded in the medieval age that acted in a similar manner to an axe. They were big heavy swords with blunt edges designed to bash in armour rather than sever body parts, so it is to me completely feasible that the legionnaire could wield a sword instead of an axe, just so long as the sword represented similar proportions.

A better presention would be a better statement here. Just mentioned on the brink. Especially the really cool goodie presents would have earned a decent presention.
