I'm trying to do some cool little mini 'hacks' in console but am unsure how to do lots of things because I don't know what half the cmds do.  is there any lsit of all cmds with descriptions?

For now however: In most other things the "goto x" command will make the console execute the script in "x".  What is the command that allows me to save what goes inside of x?

Heh, been into same stuff lately too. Most of the commands are self explanatory but some I have no idea wha they do.

About your question, are you asking how to execute a file? I believe its exec pathhere.
If you are asking on how to make a function x, check this page: http://www.newerth.com/wiki/index.php/XR_Script_Reference

I'm a bit suprised nobody has wrotten more in-depth guide for scripting. Would love to use it.

If you want to learn scripting/modding, check out the wiki here: http://www.newerth.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Join the channel #savagemods on irc.newerth.com if you have questions. I think Haku wrote a guide somewhere, don' t remember the link tho.

(PS: Be aware, cmdscript is pain in the ass imo Tongue)

I wrote a guide for GameScript, not cmdScript.
Trig wrote a guide a more general guide within my guide.

In the above-mentioned guide, Trig links to Groentjuh's guide.
