Well if you can rent an oil rig to host a Savage server, half way between Europe and US, we can meet there ofc. EU and Terra had similar ping on US servers, that was the reason we did it this way.

I don't think so.
The ping equalizing for Terra was a one time thing to give a new community a better chance.
So, no, US clans will be playing on EU servers in this EU league. :p

or maybe to give NUBS a chance, let them play on the server of there choice for one race only and then swap to another server.

e.g. NUBS v Sun
Nubs want to play on us leet as humans(or beasts),
with the 2nd match Sun get to choose which server they wish to play on

It's pointless.
It's an EU league, not an international 200-ping-for-all league. Smiley
If they sign up for an EU league, they have to be prepared to play on EU servers.
The match against Terra was no fun at all.

I promise you, I'm not arranging a non-EU server. Smiley And if NUBS refuses to play on an EU server, it's their problem - forfeit.
As simple as that.
(Hey, if other clans want to play with 200 ping, that's not up to me. Wink Your choice if you want to ruin a match.)

For Terra it was to get their new clan/community going - helping them out. US's clan activity fails to revive regardless what you do for them. It's a pointless gesture. US has yet to finish one NSL to the end. (And if only 1 US clan signs up, that speaks for itself.)

So, if (a) US clan(s) want to sign up, they had best be prepared.

That sounds like you want to kill the damaged US playerbase. Great, let's make Savage EU only....If only 1 clan signs up, why shouldn't we allow them to play and support them a bit?

1. Who made you say that? Smiley
2. A 3 players clan with no forum is the US playerbase?
3. How is a 3 players clan playing 10 cws on EU servers killing the US player base?
4. When was the last time US finished a NSL before Hakugei's comments?
5. Who is forbidding US clans to sign-up for EU league?
6. This is not a Terra-type situation. Playing on US was finding middle ground. And it sucked. Playing on US servers with US teams is not middle ground.

So many aberrations you've managed to cram in such a short phrase.

May i remind you the Quorum has nothing to do with the leisure or occasional players, or "player bases". It's meant for discussing competitive play matters, including NSL measures like:
-do we wanna mix the US and EU leagues together
-where do we play if US clans sign-up for the EU league

Even though there won't be in yet, new clans like NUBS or, say, Fox, will benefit from this as well, since decisions made inside the Quorum means they will be as widely supported as anything can be expected to.

If you're that worried about "killing the player base", worry about players splitting over 2 Savage versions, incompatible with one another.

I see 2 possibilities:
1. US clan plays on EU servers
2. Human team always can choose the server, as it's impossible to win with 150 ping humans vs 40-80 ping beasts. Matches need special maps then, negating the advantage of lower ping for humans.

it would be fairer if more clans sign up in that area

They finished NSL 1 and 2, but yeah US competitive savage pretty much died after that point.

There are 7 already and the max is prolly 10, so discussing can begin and whoever's left can simply join up when they're ready.

TH is close to finishing the list, got no reply from Terra and UA, and WTO is probably disbanded once again, with Slayer now applying for TH and all.
