2 weird situations on nohope:
I was pred with carn, sav with shield buff comes near sub, I had around 70-85% hp, I hit him once so got some +hp, He one shot me with shotgun. Instant death.

I was shammy, Reviving pred near 4 legios and one nomad, 3 legios and nomad were in fire buff range so i buffed(fire). They didn't get hit by fire at all till 3 of them moved so close that they were touching my shaman body(or it was connected to revival anim? not sure).

Joined on kinixxx with full tech team(human).
Cata hit sound doesn't work sometimes.  Could be related to shaman shield but I didn't see them shielding. (healing spire went down in 2 hits. no hit sounds(probably shammy on it), hitting lair 3-4 shots, no hit sound).
Got vote swapped to beasts. Spawned as pred+rabid+frenzy+mist. Couldn't select frenzy while rapidly hitting 3(my usual frenzy slot). After selecting mist(4) I could select frenzy(3).

PS. Love you guys for still working on sav <3

1006: You were an XR 1.0 tester, and still use a Savage 1.0 Testing install. Find your Savage XR installation folder and open/edit the "a-u.cfg" file located inside. Just change the value of the "isTesting 1" keyword to "isTesting 0" and your install will become Production.
Simply editing that doesn't change 1006 to 1005. Can't connect anywhere Tongue

To make testing ver work(1006). Do what Daemon wrote then go to savage/autoupdater/localversion in version.txt change number to 6627. Start savage, let it update and play.

i unistalled savage and reinstalled it, not i can acces to main panel, acces to options, to the tutorial but i can't go at server list, here is my debug files

Sounds like a net error. Try to get a server ip somewhere and type in console: "connect server_ip_here".

from newerth.com server list for example Tongue

It might be your firewall blocking savage from downloading server list. (I had to wait few mins for 'server browser menu' to load when I blocked sav in firewall.)
From debug.log it seems savage is allowed to connect with inet(at least with masterserver). You should try adding silverback executable to your firewall 'white list'/'allowed'.

You need to stand near spawn point for 35seconds to get slayed. I really can't see how that's not enough in 99% cases of:
1. shielding gate near lair: gate goes up muuuch faster than that
2.shielding sub from ballis with your behe body: for more than 35sec? behe can't stand alive for so long while being hit by balli
3.defending vs behe train: I can't believe t2 would have enough gold to do constant behe trains for 35sec+
(and you are not the only one who can spawn balli in your team)

I think you guys keep forgetting that you really just need to move few meters away from spawnpoint (it takes around 5 seconds to get out from so called 'spawn area').


From what I understand current anticamping script works like this:
When you are near spawnpoint with siege you get some 'invisible camping points' for each second you stay near spawn.
Entering loadout doesnt reset it.
Moving outside spawn area/changing unit and spawning makes you lose 1 of those 'invisible camping ponits' per second.
So if you camped with siege for 34 seconds near spawnpoint, you'll have to play for next 34seconds with non siege unit(or move away from spawn). Then you'll have 'clean record'.
If you keep spawning for 5 seconds with siege and then go to loadout..after few spawns like that you'll get slayed.

What I would like to see is even more strict anticamping script Tongue
Maybe a bit bigger 'spawn area' so you can't run with balli to sh when blazer comes to get you.
35sec siege near spawn..then 70 seconds(35sec now) with other unit to reset your camping meter to 0.

Oh and if someone didn't notice. I play as siege a lot Tongue

Suoma is right.
There is variable which returns object id pointed by your crosshair: cl_targetedobject. You can use it in bind.
bind KEY "ref remove #[cl_targetedobject]"
Now just point crosshair over object you want to remove and press KEY you just bound.

PS. Never heard about 'ref remove' command before.
