1  Savage XR / General Savage XR Discussion / Goodbye on: August 25, 2008, 11:58:21 pm
Today is my 30th birthday.
As some of you might have noticed, I've been away for the past two months.

My life is getting harder and harder, with less time to spend on recreation.
I need to focus all my energy on my company and i gave up all my hobbies except for astronomy.

Don't have time to explain the whole thing (maybe another day), just want to do the "thank you" list:

THANK YOU!  Smiley

- DJ (and sidekicks) for taking an awesome game and making the best gamming community i've ever seen

- Takz and Djin for allowing me to join SoV

- all the hard core SoV players, especially Precious, 3D, Hell !!!!

- Shamoke for being a really cool guy. Cya frog legs!

- Vinther for reminding me what happens when you loose your temper

- scv for being a fair player and a friendly guy

- Shagroth for pushing the limits of this game and for showing me that a "bad ass" attitude does not work all the time. You got to be humble sometimes!

- Vega, Figueiral, Aneurysm, Punisher, Feanor, and a lot of names i can't remember now because im very drunk

Specially for you fuckers with small dicks:
- Razer, Toxic, etc
I hope someday you enter by mistake in a big bus full of gay ninfomaniacs pornostars from Chernobyl  Evil

I'm sorry:

- If i was not giving my best as ref lately
- when I over used ballista and pissed you off ( cool down A-Max! )
- Special note for the XR dev. team: I'm sorry if I made ZERO, but it was a working mode I could not work in. Also short after i joined the team, I had more work to do in my company

To all, good luck and have a GOOD life!  Smiley

PS: its not really a mustache, more of a beard but wife likes it this way and sex is good

Note: Best selling FPS for PS3
Savage would never be a best selling game.

- it would be great if you can specify a "reason" (optional parameter) for kick votes and mute votes. the reason should be displayed in the vote
Actually i suggested the same some months ago, i think i can give it a look

Science is changing all the time. How can we base our world on science, when it itself is still in debate on what is true and what is not? The only reason you believe in science, is because science produces something tangible. All things around you are made through means of science; you're being pulled into the scientific approach through your surroundings. Think about;

Why is science true? Because it produces results from tangible situations? Then why do we

1) Assume our perceptions aren't clouded
2) Quantum-mechanica and the likes to science, when they're of philosophical origins and not proven.

1) science does not claim to hold absolut true. Just has theories that describe reality as good as currently possible
2) actually quantum physics is not to be taken literaly. Particles do NOT jump randomly from a point in space to another. Those jumps are > 4 dimensions linear movements. As we cannot predict that, Quantum physics is just a tool that allows us to treat those data in a statistical way. Just like newton's gravitational theory is not as precise as general relativity, although it is still fine for everyday calculations.

Im not a religious fanatic but there is something higher than us.
Highier? Why not LOWER? Some sort of entity that has some sort of conscience but is not aware of most of the universe. The whole universe is just a sub-product of her. Like her shit or snort.

Hey, following my topic about science vs religion http://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,4553.0.html,
I thought about creating this topic:
Should Savage have a religion? How do YOU think it should be? Could we have 10 commandments? Maybe a bar mitzvah? Holy wars ffs!!  Cheesy

Btw, 90% of the worlds religions HAVE a devlish entity, A.K.A. SATAN!  Evil

there is such a thing s a dragon  Cool

but if you wish to know science vs religion i would suggest a book

Robert Langdons - Angels & Demons
Author = Dan Brown ( Alsoauthor of The Da Vinci Code )

heres a link to the plot

http://www.danbrown.com/novels/angels_demons/plot.html

and yes i have read the book .. good read

its a fictional book but based on some facts.
Dan Brown's books are dull, poorly written and full of science and theological mistakes.

Your picture stinks Satan, the end is crap. The scientist should have been the dragon!
An imaginary entity?  Cheesy
I'm Jenna Jameson 3rd breast, btw

My view: you will never know, so don't let your life being ruled by the threat of a "dragon".

14  Archive / Modding Forum / Re: Wall building on: May 23, 2008, 04:46:57 pm
Please think about balance... please.
We could add a map variable to allow / disallow walls building. By default it would not be allowed. Or make it a server var.
Or we could add a special vote for this, that could only be called during warmup.

IMO Eden2 is a map that should allow it.

"Rest of the world"  Cheesy
