yeh, that's the theory, it just doesn't seem to work as great as it sounds
You are welcome to help checking maps; for now simply post your test results as comments to the respective maps. If you don't do it too sloppily I'll sort you out as map admin so you can put approved maps online and remove ones with serious bugs.
A list of maps waiting for checking can be retrieved by clicking the link bottom left on the maps section's main page. Things to especially look out for include fog & farclip settings, occluders, tod (time of day) settings, that all areas which are meant to be reachable are actually reachable and that all areas which are not meant to be reachable are not reachable (aka exploits
), grimms wall exploits, "buildability" (whether placing buildings at crucial and interesting points is possible), worker pathing along important paths, whether ladders are properly climbable, whether one can spawn from every spawnflag, and probably some more.
