i have the, being ignored feeling....same problem the autoupdated is success but then this message error appears

The problem is that this could've come from anywhere really, as what is written to the console log is often behind what's actually going on.  I'll try adding a crash report when an invalid free is detected (or any other system error), that way you'll be able to provide the .zip crash report + it'll be easier to locate the problem.

The crash report being displayed when an invalid free occurs should be available on the auto-updater next time there is a binary release.

After the newest 400 MB patch my Savage is giving me this error!

Give me a solution pls Smiley

Thx Arjey

That generally happens if you've moved or renamed \game\savage0.s2z (eg. to savage0.zip to view contents), or it could be the s2z file is corrupted and couldn't be opened.  I can't see how it would have deleted that file.

Okay have two smaller things. Firstly there is a noticeable "delay" / lag delay/whatever you wanna call it when pressing any buttons on the menu's, the spawn button, the "PLAY" button, and spawn location, and any other main "buttons" in the game interface. For example you press to spawn at lair and there is 2 second delay then you spawn but still it is not smooth it feels like you've just come out of a massive lag spike, so all in all it takes you about a few more seconds to recover. I can still happily play, it's just it's annoying spawning and not being able to help straight away sometimes.

This should be a little faster after you run the auto-updater now.  There's still more improvements to be made, but these other changes won't be available for a day or so on the auto-updater.

that happened to me today, too...i just restarted the game, but this seems not to be the long term solution Smiley

Did you have a window pop up at some time before that with no text in it?

Does closing down the steam app (if you have it installed) affect your FPS?  I've noticed when that's open it affects my FPS.

What version of savage are you running + is it happening whatever server type you try to connect to?

Yeah, stick some resources over the other side, in an area unreachable by any other way + you have something new to fight over.  by the way, it's pier not peer, just so you don't name the assets incorrectly Smiley
