Title: Redstone and Workers.

Just a suggestion to stop the loss of games through early map control :mine:
If a T2 worker is collecting Red-stone and a T1 player kills the worker carrying the Red-stone to the Lair or Sub then the Red-stone could be droppable for T1 to pick up like Gold or Health ?

Would make early invades more common and stop complete halts to the game when a commander didn't mean to use so much Red-stone and cant access a mine ?!  :knuppel: :mine:

Also I believe this idea was proposed somewhere before but got lost amidst all the drama. Anyone has any opinions on the idea?

Cuz workers are fragile fucks and still 1st prio to kill.
The goodie they drop r gold, but if one fragile worker gets his hand on stone it should benefit the team making sure that happens.
But hey its me and my opinion, but my opinion carries more value cuz im handsome and awesome nd biccest legacy in seveg

Kind of a good point! Indeed killing workers is already rewarding enough for the attacking team, as it deprives the other team from income, building power and on top of that 50 Redstone initially. No reason to make attacking workers even more attractive, come to think of it.

We do want to make sure early fighting is stimulated more though, fuck early game power mining!

well, you could make it as such that if you really find powermining aka :mine: aka  :uglystupid: aka :smitten: that gamechanging.
Just code in a cooldown on 3 sec or smth if the delivered stone is 5 :)

Yeeeeeaaaah lots of people wont be happy about that! Powermining is a core stratagy and part of Savage, I just think there should be an alternative to powermining that makes early action more attractive while not changing gameplay too much!

Something like a Redstone Miner (http://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,17727.0.html) perhaps??? :wink:
