As my subject clearly tell thats what comes to see whenever i start my Savage XR. Me not having a clue about any internet stuff, this could have been written as: "hey haika, now you wont be able to see some of the amazing features on this new version".

when the log in screen appears and i fill in like a baws, it seems like savage is taking a nap and i just wait for the crash report, but instead i get online but not through the "Authentication server", whatever that means. My icon is gone and if i try to see stats and similareties it wont happen. Ive seen SavageBeard and Nymph bring up the same question on other topics without getting any solutions, so i wondered if you could give it a think or two and maybe tell me and the other recieving the same message what to do.

Just so you know, its not offline for everyone else, so its probably some settings on my router i gotta change(as i googled common problems). But everything there is in a language i do not understand and therefore i step carefully.

Any suggestions?

I've put HAIKA through some tests to help pinpoint the problem, but I personally don't know what's the matter.
Here is the additional information we gathered:

RC3 and XR1.0 have the same authserver.
He can't log in with 1.0, nor create a new account.
Even circumventing the login screen itself and using a manual /login doesn't work.
He can log in with RC3.
He can ping (via cmd) the authserver just fine.

From what I can tell, the only 'real' difference between RC3 and XR1.0 (in terms of accounts) is that the account system is written in Python now instead of C. Hope that helps at all. Mohi, when you have the time, any clue?

I have the same problem, only i can't get rc3 to work either. It started when i reinstalled windows few months ago, after installing savage I couldn't get it to run at all
I'm using windows 7 enterprise
I disabled windows firewall and I'm using comodo, but even when I turn that off I still can't login to savage
I don't have a problem with any other game or application accessing internet so it's not a problem with firewall

If I reconnect it wont work (auth server).
If I disconnect and reload Savage it wont work.
If I disconnect and click log-out, and only click log in., without changing any details...It works.

Ive noticed that when i start savage and after presing login the program is not responding until the message comes about auth being offline, if that is to any help Smiley
