This a very BIG improvement to Savage!
The Bullet Engine has been integrated to enable Full World Physics!

Map Makers can now add "dynamic" objects to their maps, like:
  - Large Boulders.
  - Building Materials (planks, walls).
  - Crates, Barrels...
  - Portable Ladders.
  - and more...

These Objects can be pushed, grabbed, even set on fire!!
Important Note: The Player Physics have NOT been changed at all. You can still jump/bounce slopes.

This is part of a MAJOR patch, coming your way in the next few days!
Until then, we created a trailer which you can view by clicking the image or links below.

Wow, this is great! Are the physics shown with server fps or is there a client side interpolation to smoothen it?

The server does all the physics calculations at a constant 20FPS, which clients interpolate to get smooth trajectories.

one very random curiosity, Would it be possible tobe able to go into your map during creation? this would m,ake bug cheking easier for themapper, line the cammera up where u want to spawn swap to unit mode and test the sector of the map

If its possible would it take alot of coding (id be willing to have a look if someone gave me a pointer)

This is something that I have wanted to add for a long time. If it was added it wouldn't be like being ingame but more like this http://www.gametrailers.com/player/46877.html.

Anything that happens ingame can essentially be added to the editor. How much work to get certain things in is a different story...

Once the main things I want to do with the editor are done then I doubt I will work on XR at all other then fixes to stuff I do. If I have the motivation I might get this stuff done oneday...
