Class upgrades come at no cost as they are rewards for players who perform well. They require no extra buildings to produce and once a player has upgraded they cannot revert to a previous state until the next round.


The base class is automatically chosen depending on the weapon choice excluding the Cavalry and Spanish Cannon which are chosen through normal means.

The Musketeer is able to carry all ranged weapons but excels in the use of the musket. He carries full armour so is slowed due to that, but gains extremely accurate firing ability. The Musketeer becomes available to Kyudoists who reach level 5 in ranged combat.
