Human Weapons

Note: All weapons can be blocked. All damage can be blocked. Some human weapons are hard to block cause they hit nearly instantly fire very rapidly. Human weapons are all ranged and require ammo. Equip an ammo pack to double the amount of ammo you spawn with. Pick up the crates that enemies drop to replenish your ammo. Note that you cant replenish the ammo that you got extra with the ammo pack. If you have an ammo pack, you cant pick up ammo till your ammo is below the amount it can be without the ammo pack.

[edit] In general

Human weapons are all researched in the arsenal. Most also require a factory before they can are avaible. Meaning human coms can not research more weapons at the same time then there are arsenals. Most coms dont build several arsenals cause they cost redstone and it's usually not needed.

Tier 1 is researchable when the arsenal (and factory) is up. Costs 100? redstone. Tier 1 weapons are free.

Tier 2 is researchable when the lair upgrade to lvl 2 is complete. Costs 200? redstone. Tier 2 weapons cost 250 gold. Except crossbow, which is free.

Tier 3 is researchable when the lair upgrade to lvl 3 is complete. Costs 300? redstone. Tier 3 weapons cost 500 gold.

If the factory required is destroyed, the com can not research the weapons and if there was a research in progess that research has to be restarted. Example: if you loose your last magnetic factory, the magnetic weapons, items, tower upgrades and buffs become unavaible and the com for example cant continue researching repeaters. With exception of ammo pack and medkit, those two items depend on the research center. If the last arsenal is destroyed the com can not research any weapon till the arsenal is rebuild.

The first column. These weapons are researched in the arsenal. They require an arsenal or become unavaible, except the hunting bow.

Hunting Bow:

Tier 1 weapon: Charge up weapon. Hold longer to shoot further. Comes with 18 ammo. Is always avaible.


Crossbow:

Tier 2 weapon: Good weapon early in the game. Comes with 20 ammo.


Marksmanbow:

Tier 3 weapon: Sniper weapon. Is nearly never researched cause humans can easily loose when too many ppl use it. Has a few moments where it could be useful, but in general the benefits are no match for the downsides. Humans can loose because it cause sniping humans are not aware of their direct enviroment, meaning they dont kill gates, repair buildings or kill beast nearby. For a meelee beast they are like a free health boost or stamina boost. Humans have to push forward in order to win. You have to get close to buildings and damage them. You cannot do that with mmb. To make it even worse, the beast sniper is way better then the human sniper meaning mmb kiddies usually get a few lightnings up their ass quickly. Lightning has unlimited range and unlimited ammo. The mmb can not compete with that allthough it fires faster. (mana regenerates pretty slowly with mana crystal.) The situations where it could be good are for sniping the enemy workers and maybe it can snipe the enemy gate too. Or for taking out summoners that are firing at the shields. In general, coil can do that too. Mmb has a zoom.

[edit] Magnetic weapons

These weapons are researched in the arsenal. They require a magnetic factory.

Scattergun:

Tier 1 weapon: It is comparable to a shotgun. Does good damage in close range. Comes with 12 shells.


Repeater:

Tier 2 weapon: It acts just like a sub-machine gun. It fires bullets very rapidly but is inaccurate at long distance. It's pretty quickly out of ammo. Good for giving supportive fire from a distance. Comes with a 110 bullet clip. One of the best and most used weapons.


Coil Gun:

Tier 3 weapon: Precision weapon. Has a zoom. The shot gets more powerful after some distance, making it able to shoot through multiple enemies. Good for the occasional sniping. Excellent if your aim is perfect. Comes with a 13 round clip.

[edit] Electric weapons

These weapons are researched in the arsenal and require an electrical factory.

Discharger

Tier 1 weapon. Charge up weapon. It does more damage when fully charged. Short range.


Flux Gun

Tier 2 weapon. Ray weapon. Does good damage and slows down the enemy it hits. One of the better and most used weapons. If you flux an enemy from 3 sides he nearly cant move. Comes with 250 ammo.


Pulse Cannon

Tier 3 weapon. Radius damage weapon. Hurts. It's shots fly pretty slowly so can be dogded pretty easily. One of the best weapons. Devastating against opponents that just got blocked or that are immobilized or being fluxed cause they move slower/stand still so they cant dogde it well. Excellent against behemoths too, brings them down pretty fast. Kills summoners in a few shots. Because it's radius damage, it can kill multiple ppl at the same time if they pack together.

[edit] Chemical weapons

These weapons are researched in the arsenal. They require a chemical factory.

Incinerator:

Tier 1 weapon: Possibly the best free weapon there is. It's damage doesnt count as radius damage (wind shield doesnt stop incinerator damage) but it does damage multiple targets at once. It is basicly a cloud of fire that stays for a brief moment. You can shoot behind you with or make a circle of fire around you. Short range. Shoot it at where the enemy is going to leap to and dodge their attacks by sidestepping. You can kill predators with this (as nomad). Excellent for using in tight places such as around spawn flags. Can create small seas of fire.


Mortar:

Tier 2 weapon: Sort of grenade launcher. Radius damage. Bounces several times. Explodes on contact or after 2-3 bounces. Can bounce around corners. Good against buildings if no siege is avaible if done in large groups. Difficult to use effectively as it is necessary to lead the targets. With a little practice it is easy to master and suits those who have a compliment of melee skills. Mortars can be used to shoot over some low props - Losthills is a great map to try this on!


Launcher:

Tier 3 weapon: fires bigger grenade shells then the mortar. Radius damage. These dont bounce. It fires more powerfully then the mortar, higher and further. Good against buildings if no siege is avaible and if done in groups.
