Gold Mine

Gold mines is a resource that is gatherable by players or workers.

Gold should only be mined when there is no redstone available to you on the map. This typically happens during endgame. It is better to have workers mining gold instead of doign nothing.

Gold is useful for auto. It adds more gold for your team.

[edit] Noobs and Gold Mines

Noob commanders seem to have a mysterious attraction to gold mines. Nobody knows why; possibly it's shiny look? When noobs command, they sometimes mine gold in the begining of the game. Usually, they get impeached
