I know that most players consider denying an integral part of any DotA or HoN game, but I also know several players who would prefer not to deny.

denying is imporatnt as it adds some depth to the game without it games wouldbecome horribly linear everyame  |

actuly there is a simmlar game mode, it makes one team buildings and people lvl 25 and invincible and a creep a millesecond, the other team lvl with 1 hp, its s2's solution to backdooring  |

Stop being elitist and think about this. While I love denying I wouldn't mind others having the option especially for noob only games where people are learning to play. I would like for this game to get more recognition and I think that the only way to do that is to make it a little easier to learn the game. There is already a huge learning curve and having a option for noobs to play with a little less pressure and one less thing to think about would help. I myself would never play said games but if I was training someone again I would put them in no deny games.

I had to comment on this, you claim people are being elitist by saying that "Denied" is an important part of the tame. Then you suggest that by removing "Denied" from the game it would help people to learn how to play. Its like learning to play dodgeball with no ball, lets just run around like idiots inside a square. I've been playing for like... 5 days, my rating sucks, I didnt play dota, I've lost over and over again without any kind of tutorial, I didnt even know that A was the hotkey for being able to deny.... then... 5 days later I play a game in my lane where im level 6 and the dude in my lane is 3 cause I've denied a good majority of his XP, I'm able to dominate him once i get my super and now I've owned that lane and can dominate it the entire game. By suggesting people play a game that ISN'T Heroes of Newerth is really @#$%^&*! stupid. If people cant learn now to deny/last hit... they should just quit playing, or keep feeding people who arnt idiots. |
