because i was already late with publishing (i had to reinstall comp cuz of codecs and malfunctioning computer)  , i didnt take lots of time for the finishing touch (like the title in between matches , and the end of each match)

that will be better next time

to unsafe:
i can make amv's too if you want  rolleyes

The 300 theme blends very nicely into the beginning of the match. And taking into account that this was your first shoutcast, and that you rushed it, the editing was good.

A couple things I noticed almost immediately, because I share in the difficulty of mastering them when it comes to delivering a match :
- Enthusiasm.
This is the most difficult thing to master in shoutcasting as you can try to put your heart into all the action during the recording, and then play it back only to realize, "man I sounded really bored..." I've said that to myself quite a few times watching my own shoutcasts after production. I think the only way to fix this is to become comfortable with recording yourself so that you can be more natural, that will obviously come through repetition and I believe that my delivery of matches has improved due to this. So keep on shoutcasting! afro

- Stating the obvious.
This habit is easier to fix. When you're talking about a match and all you're doing is verbalizing what is being seen on the screen, you're simply adding an unnecessary back sound to the viewer and it easily drives their attention away from you. If you watch the professional shoutcasters of (say the WCG for example), they give updates on to how the game is progressing, but then they completely fill all the spaces inbetween by delving into the sublevels of the action : what players are most likely feeling, what common or uncommon strategies are being implemented, what are the repercussions of a certain event, the risks and payoffs of certain situations, and so on. When you take all those hidden mechanics of the match, and you bring them to the surface as it progresses, that is what makes the shoutcast worth watching.

Other than that it was a very clean first effort. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. smiley

Pretty good job!

Just some bad things:

1. Try to sound less bored Wink (I sound the same the moment I turn my microphone on).
2. Try to explain/analyse more. I mean it wasnt a live shoutcast - so you might know how GREAT the distraction in match 1 worked (when the 5 workers sneaked) - all you told us was "oh...they´re hesitating...theyre going somewhere else...oh theres a gar..." - since this move decided the game... <- more enthusiasm! Tongue
3. Try to take a look on team gold. (exspecially on low-gold maps - such as losthills...) - SoN was not ONLY out of tech but out of GOLD aswell...which made it impossible to do any pressure! (important! - mention it).
4. You could add some "man of the match" feature or atleast tell the viewers who did PWN most <-

all those things can be done when you dont know what to say (f.e. when NOTHING is happening... - dont show us scouters and say "oh, theyre scouting" - since everyone can see that + you could inform us with more important stuff (such as teamgold...).

greetz AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
every shoutcast (no matter how good/bad it is) is better than NO shoutcast!

Very nice Marchrisker Smiley.

Some things I think would  add to the shoutcast:

-A few seconds to call out the members that are playing for the clans.
-Add music only in points when there is PICK action.
-taking a few seconds before the start of the match to give some background of the clan : Sun took third in the last nsl/being unbeeten etc..

you could also describe the way the cw map  is usually played....
f.e. "on losthills - you gotta save gold!" <-
This shoutcast thing could be something for new players aswell...does not mean to that you gotta describe the whole game mechanics but a bit more... newb-information would be cool!
