Using these you can create quite a range of interaction or gameplays.

atm, I don't have time to write out it in detail. When I get the time then all the info around here will be more intuitive. Until. that time. I recommend opening $Savage_Directory$/game/objects/scripts (if you don't have the .s2z files extracted read the following:

  • Start with the lowest *.2sz number ((savage0.s2z) It works alphabetically)
    Once you have extracted all your .s2z files add extension .BAK to the s2z files so they don't conflict with extracted folders.

Browse the .GS files and mess around with them a bit and figure out how they link to the objects. If you do this right I'll say within a hours time you'll have figured out the basics of the Game Scripts.

erm for the Blender Exporter:
cant you just transform (wohohohu) the 3dsmax plugin to a phyton script? this can be run in Blender like Sflender? or is it impossible?  Undecided

Until we get a blender plugin, you can just send your models to other modelers who use 3ds max and they'll give you .model files....

Ummm. Don't even bother sending it down the pipeline if it's anything complicated. Max 4 is not the friendliest of things....

Might be a bit off topic here, but i am having problems with permanently ignoring people.
/g_ignore says "now permanently ignoring ..." but it doesnt ignore him at all.
/ignore has to be reused whenever the map is changed, which is annoying.

/g_ignorelistfull does contain a guid.

What am i doing wrong?

No matter how much i play around with the .GS or . object files (and playing around is all i want to), if i host a game, savage always seems to find the original files to load (i deleted all .s2z files after extracting). ie Changing the tooltip entry in the beast_worker.object doesnt have any effect. So, is that some SFE hack prevention and if yes how to bypass it (dont need to play on normal servers with this ofc)? Or did i just overlook the right files to edit?

thnx for any advice

Edit: Found it... so SFE uses the SEP3 folder Shocked

born_to_be_noobish: g_ignore is for authenticated users. Both you and the ignoree must be authenticated for a perm-ignore to work. If you are still having problems with it. Check with Newerth Staff for fixing bug with the perm-ignore.

Eclipse:The exporter is compatible up to max 8. Due to a major change in max 9 and then again in 2008 to use these the plugin would need to be updated to be compatible.

And now they say max 9 is a fail! (Which it was. Max9 was actually Max 2008 Beta) And cross version compatability is skewed between 2008 (and 2009 which I believe is already out... someone needs to tell then their calendar is wrong). Yet another brilliant project screwed over by advancing formats. Dunno bout transfers between 2008 and 2009, not got to test that anywhere yet.

//Server Basics = Default //what it does
sv_xp_commander_order_interval = "5000" //time before another award to commander for order_followed/order
sv_xp_commander_order_given = "1" //how often to award order_given and order_followed
sv_xp_commander_order_followed = "1" //given to commander when a player follows his order
sv_xp_commander_demolish ="-20" //destroying your own structures
[....]
sv_xp_commander_request_ignore = "-1"  //incompleted player tasks

I would thought its when comm refuse GOLD ...
sv_xp_commander_request_ignore ="-1" // DECLINING Gold request from player

Heretic people Evil
Did you mind orders which are no yet followed by players are giving an xp-loss to Ophelia or his father!?
