Where are you from?

Because EU players work/school during the day.
And US players annoyed and abused one another so long until they rage quit so they don't play anymore.
And BR has a small community.

Meaning, there is only an EU scene and a small BR scene, and they obviously only play afternoon and night (in their own timezone) since they're busy during the day.

Yes there are no longer any standard mode servers available to join.  However, you still are required to play some (10?) standard games before you can join an advanced server.  Thus there is actually no way for a new player to play Savage Resurrection right now even if they wanted to (besides practice mode).

I don't think there are more than 2 US servers in general. Seems like S2 shut most of them down. I was checking it three days ago in the Steam server list... Huh

Savage Resurrection Forum
The store page's reviews and the actual steam forum make this a redundantly obvious question.
