Hello.

Is there a way to "lessen" the screen reddening and the earthquake effects? Is this common for blaze to cover that much of your screen that you basically don't really see who you are shooting?

There are indeed a few ways, I'm not sure if it's considered as hax tho. Once an XR Dev gives me green light I'll share what I know.

try lowering the fire effect scale in your savage options menu.

if that doesn't help try natsu's game mod.

Hi giblink,

You can get rid of earthquake effects... and the reddening effect too in case you mean the red flash which indicates taking damage.

These can be turned off with cvars. You can change cvar's value in-game in the console but the effect will only last for the current match. To run these settings automatically each time you can save the settings in "custom.cfg" located at "Savage XR\game\" -folder. Open the file with notepad and add the following codes (each on their own line):

To remove the earthquake effects (caused by explosions and behemoth walk):
Code:
cl_camerajitterforce 0

To remove red flash (caused by taking damage):
Code:
cl_playerdamageoverlay 0

To remove white flash (caused by using medkit):
Code:
cl_playerhealoverlay 0

custom.cfg is run by autoexec.cfg automatically.

For minimizing blaze or explosion visuals there are ways but they can give unfair advantage over other players. Would consider them more or less wallhaxes.

Thanks for replies.

Having no effect at all when hit... No, I better change it back. Although it's unbearable when you are being target by a bunch of flux guns. Doesn't happen every time I die though. Maybe something I'll get used to eventually.

Blaze explosions...  Sad

I think its a part of the game and should be considered haxx to remove it (unless there is a general option for it in the menu).  Police
