Idea to challenge kripps: Pros vs Joes nights

If anyone has seen the television show pros vs joes you'll understand but here is the basic premise. they take professional athletes (pros) the put them up against amateurs (joes) in head to head competitions with rules that favor the joes. through in an out of shape comedian as host and you have a TV show.

so what I was thinking was we do the same with the no life people and we give ourselves disadvantages to even it out. I was thinking:

remove the team limits and allow the no life team to have a 2-1 advantage or something.
weapons restrictions, no discharger, flux, temp, melee enchantments, or coil. (i.e. no farming weapons)
we announce our strategy to them.
they can pick the map and race they play.

I don't mean use all the above but maybe a combination just some ideas to get the ball rolling. if they win we can give them a clan tag or something that shows they won. if they lose they lose nothing ventured nothing gained.

the objective is to expose them slowly to our level of intensity and slowly ease them into some of our more complex strategies that require the level of unit cohesion we have attained despite the fact we bitch eachother out sometimes... or a lot... alright I may be a prime culprit of that.

Maybe we could try beating them on "lol_human_map"  . Only way to win as beasts is to survive untill you can gate out of the death pit. That should be challenging enough

Watch how they finally realize they got no chance to close the 8+ years playing time gap and give up playing altogether .

and after the match they get wasted on a proper server :/ I'm sceptical  of your idea to "close the gap"

But it might be fun for them as a one off, who knows.

Well I mean - I see your point - but there is one new player specifically that was on the verge of quitting due to the immense gap, we power-schooled him - duels.. info lessons - spec/tip times - pretty much supervised on and off for days. He's fairly good now - though it took multi-vet work - and few days of grinding - he has a MASSIVE gap between him and the kripp crew that he came from. So it is possible. But they will WANT to learn too - with effort more then just say so.

it's an open invitation, I was thinking that if we found some way to level the playing field it wouldn't be such a massacre. this way they can get a taste of what it's like without getting pounded.

I'd like to participate in this, although I wouldn't consider my self a pro at the game. I just want an excuse to run around with scattergun all game long

Maybe just do all future competitions with first and second league like quake live do with their server
