Hi Oldman.   shocked

6 GMT on sunday seems to work pretty good for team usa/canada, how is it for you?

Lets think.
6 GMT is 9am in the morning for us. I can give 95% that we wont get even 5 players that time.
6 GMT for DS for example is 2am (east coast = EC) and 11pm (23.00 if I am right) for the most of your team (west coast = WC).
If I am correct then we have time difference about 8-9 hours with you.
I suggest something like this:
1pm-2pm for WC its 4-5pm for EC = 20-21GMT = 11-12pm (23-24.00) for us.
But 24 is already kinda late.

Also - if we will play this way we would like to play it on Saturday.

Yes you are correct with these calculations, but unfortunately there are members who are busy working even on saturday + sundays -- this means they are busy from 9:00am - 5:00pm weekends.   Most european teams arrange for 18-21 GMT, but for north america this scheduling doesn't work too well because it is during the day when many folks are busy, even on the weekends.

But if CCCP really wants 20 GMT, then team usa/canada will try our best to show up with enough players.  =)

If you will not accept 6 GMT, then we can go back and try usual 18/19 GMT on saturday.  (This works better for CCCP than 20/21 GMT yes?)

Which do you prefer?

PS.  We will book US Leet Match 1 and you can book Groentjuh Match/WWolves XR Match?

Smith, lets try to get best time for both teams but not only for one. I dont want you or us to blame each other about time after the game  wink
Ofc 18-19 gmt is good for us, but as I wrote above.

Hehe, well we've been trying hard to arrange matches for the last 6 weeks and not sure if there are any options left.  6 GMT saturday/sunday seemed to be good enough for us.  But well, I do hear that 6 GMT against Team Germany yesterday didn't work out well -- 25 minutes of waiting, and not enough players at the start for them.  We were in Team Germany's shoes in a similar case against Team Scandi during the exhibition matches, and not real fun for any team to experience that kind of setback -- no matter how it happened or why.  We had hoped that 6 GMT for euro teams would not be too early to cause those kind of problems.

If you have some alternative suggestions then go ahead.  I'll head back to the usa/canada forums as well as in-game to try and see what other times our team can make work for this match.  Will give about 24 hours for our guys to make any replies.  Tomorrow night (Tuesday) your time you'll hopefully have a solid answer from us, if not final.  Personally don't want to drag out arranging match dates/times more than need be -- server bookings get snatched up fast quicker than justin bieber ruins your ears.

Anyways, will see what can be done.  Post anything you come up with and we'll take a look at it asap.

We've got a topic going on about that right now.  Spear's actually free all day this sunday for once (statutory holiday), and DS already replied saying he can play whenever, we'll wait another 8 hours for more replies, and also to ask our team in-game if possible.

Alright dkr/Oldman, we got quite a few replies back on the usa/canada forums, and the majority (5+) said that sunday works best for them.  Our proposal is this:

Sunday, April 8th 2012
21 GMT

We will book US Leet Match for the first round, then second round will be played on a EU server of your booking -- does this sound agreeable?
