Limit from Frank Schaetzing, if you are interessted a bit in science and space travel...
It's a great book with action, science-fiction and crazy ideas!

Yeah, Schaetzing is a great author imo! Very detailed and accurate/realistic descriptions mixed with some crazy fantasy/sci-fi! Cheesy

Is there another book of Schaetzing you would recommend?

I've only read the German originals, but "Der Schwarm" (the swarm) is imo very good, even better than LIMIT.
"Lautlos" (no idea how it's called in English) is also a good and interesting book from him!

Did I already mention that one of my favourite books of all time is free?

It's an insightful summary of aphorisms. You can start reading anywhere basically.
His language is incredibly precise and beautiful at the same time.

Minima Moralia: Reflections From Damaged Life: http://members.efn.org/~dredmond/MinimaMoralia.html
Minima Moralia: Reflexionen aus dem beschädigten Leben: http://www.copyriot.com/sinistra/reading/agnado/minima.html

Enjoy!  smiley
