Savage XR 1.0 - Progress report

many thanks to all XR developers for investing so much time in the game and its development. i think i wouldn't still play this game if there was no XR, great work!

On the one hand: Very nice.

On the other hand: Altogether very nice, but are there any... behind-the-scenes adds / changes?

How long did all the stuff listed up take to make?

How long did all the stuff listed up take to make?

Python scripting has added a lot of behind the scene functionality.
Server admins will have access to a new map rotation system, automated server rules enforcement, customisation of votes, stats recording to private website, and so on...

As for how long it took, about 10-20 hours on average each week for the past 2-3 years!   tongue

No servers supporting this yet as far as I know... but you can do the following.

Graphical changes are client-based, so you don't need a server.
The evolution mod itself only exists in XR Testing right now, so you'd have to host an own server (see Nanaa's post).

hehe im doing a normal turtorial... xD i havent any skills in scripting, so its harder xD but now i try my first programm, maybe i can do it xD, rofl i need a bit time to learn it Wink
