With the end of this season's PuG Cup, there is only one more thing left to do before the next NSL.
Feedback.

Any positive and negative comments you may have shall be collected here; as well as wishes and suggestions.
When (and if) there will be another PuG Cup, these posts will be considered to improve the whole experience.
There is none planned as of yet, but off-season competitions will likely continue.

PS: Only intelligent posts are welcome. Smiley If you haven't read the rules or have little idea of what's going on (you'd think this goes without saying :p), you're better off posting on S2's HoN forum.

Sounds like some prophetic rock music lyrics. You know, the kind you can only come up with through the use of hallucinogens.

Argh, my pc should check if I´m sober before I can submit posts.  tongue
Fine if you can take it as something lyrical, otherwise see it as some form of encouragement. smiley

My feedback:

Good points:
- Nice too play with another clanmembers.
- Nice that each team choosed a map (too bad we didnt played our map that we choosed but np:) )
- Not so mutch drama this time Smiley

Bad points:
- Too less matches. Now alot of work for a few games. And if u lose the first game its already over.
- The draft vote was useless with all those backups who joined after it. And too mutch players vote for stack teams and not for even teams. I think the teams are more even if the commanders choose the teams like in a pug. And then picking like this if there are for example 4 teams:
T1
T2
T3
T4
T4
T3
T2
T1
T1
....
- The teams are too small for getting 7 players online. Perhaps because alot inactive players joined the tourney. It was also holiday time and I think people dont staying home for a pug match. So get bigger teams next time. We can better play 10 vs 10 then games like 7 vs 6. And if we choosed for 6 teams we had 1 group with all 5 matches!

Thank you for your feedback.

Bad points:
- Too less matches. Now alot of work for a few games. And if u lose the first game its already over.
- The teams are too small for getting 7 players online.

These two points contradict one another.
Had the PuG Cup ended as it was planned (time-wise), everyone would have had at least 7 players for the last match.
It was precisely because of the delays that people lost interest.
Average amount for each team was 14, double of the requirement. I used all signed up and reserve players.

So, if you want a notably longer competition, you'll need 20+ players for each team.
And unless you want to fight the same opponents over and over again, that means you'll need more teams (to keep it fresh) as well. Impossible to raise that many players.

As for the draft vote, it's a shame, but that was "agreed" on. CQ had a discussion for it, and then as I stated which is the most likely one I'd use, no one objected or had a better idea. So, be sure to discuss it in more detail next time so we can filter out the best option. Everything has been and will be discussed for future PuG-like competitions.

If people first thinking before they joining a tourney, 14 will be enought ya. But there are too mutch players who joined this tourney and didnt played or only playing one game. Not ur fault btw, u asked alot of time for changing inactive players for the backups. But its hard too kick players out the team after the first week, because perhaps they can play later in the tourney.

A normal savage clan have also alot more then 14 players if u count also the inactive players. And I think players dont stying home for a pug match and they will for a cw with there own clan.

But whats wrong with bigger teams? We had then one group with 6 teams for example. Now we need send emails and saying all the time "dont forget the pugmatch" and then hoping we will get 7 players. Its just more relax that u know there will come always more then 7 players.
