Bad points:
- Too less matches. Now alot of work for a few games. And if u lose the first game its already over.
- The teams are too small for getting 7 players online.
These two points contradict one another.
Had the PuG Cup ended as it was planned (time-wise), everyone would have had at least 7 players for the last match.
It was precisely because of the delays that people lost interest.
Average amount for each team was 14, double of the requirement. I used all signed up and reserve players.
So, if you want a notably longer competition, you'll need 20+ players for each team.
And unless you want to fight the same opponents over and over again, that means you'll need more teams (to keep it fresh) as well. Impossible to raise that many players.
As for the draft vote, it's a shame, but that was "agreed" on. CQ had a discussion for it, and then as I stated which is the most likely one I'd use, no one objected or had a better idea. So, be sure to discuss it in more detail next time so we can filter out the best option. Everything has been and will be discussed for future PuG-like competitions.
