Hello. I play savage xr, the latest one on a pc with xp running and I get updates no problem each time that there is an update available.   But...on another pc with Windows 7, I dont get updates. It begins to update then an error message.  It says  ERROR: avutil-50.dll can't be opened in: Md5File()

I have uninstalled savage xr and reinstalled it but I always get the same message.I have even installed it on a formatted hard drive and still the same message. I have the option to still play but with no updates.
What can I do?

I'm not getting updates and I'm still in 2.00e. I can't play with this patch. When I'm trying to join a game, it doesn't join! Than I receive a message: "invaled packed data received from the server (cmd was 5)."  What does it means?
Please, someone help me.

It means you are trying to play with a version of the game that is now approximately 7 years old.

Download this version instead

If you are running windows 7 or vista then after installing be sure to first run your "savage.exe" by right clicking and selecting "run as administrator" so that you get updates.

The file isn't corrupted. If your version corrupted in the download, you need to try again. There are three mirror linked, and they all work (just tested all three) so I can only suggest you try again or try a different mirror.
