Hey, are there any projectile blocker walls which are invisible but passable to go through? I tried prevent cata exploits with "blocker_long"-walls but the downside is that any spectatator flying above the map can't pass through these.

Or what's the usual solution to prevent cata exploits over mountain? Some trigger to kill cata projectiles at certain height?

Make blockers low enough not to bug specs too much but high enough to block exploits. It's a common use and it's not like specs gonna mind if exploiting is fixed this way.

There is something about it in Ane's guide or that resource compilation thread. I don't recall exactly how it's done but you need to have each texture you're using painted somewhere like in an unused corner, on the layer 1 or 2, especially if you intend to use it on layer 3.

It's dependent on video driver setting for it (waiting for v-sync or not).

There's a problem with excluding particular units, like vehicles or siege from such states. Apparently messing with that breaks the entire system. Pot Energy Armor can be rolled back to pre 1.3.9.1. But pot regen was likely never touched.

Bus HP can be lowered, of course, but it seems really at a disadvantage compared to the Conflux (which can use the Guardian for healing). Its defenselessness vs. sacs, its visibility, clumsiness and ease of aiming at, imho, weigh kind of heavily towards comms' not using the Bus as much as Conflux. There should be some tweaking of that, so if there are any suggestions...

TBH i don't know where we are with summ sprint (and balli sprint for that matter!). I don't remember whether we decided to remove one, all or keep them... old age and all. Let's get on it in admin chat.

For ranged weapons, particularly in first-person mode, it'd be much easier to aim with the keyboard.

XR is a 3D game, not Doom. You need to aim high or low, it's not enough to turn your character in the general direction of your enemy. Also, there is no auto-aim, so you need to pinpoint your crosshair.

Is there a way to configure the game to aim using the keyboard (without strafing)?
You mean having 2 sets of keys, one for moving your character in the world (forward/backward/left/right) and another one for moving the crosshair up/down/left/right on your screen, gameboy style?

Either in Options/Game or ingame by pressing DEL, you'll see the panel holding the 3rd person mode switch.

It produces ZERO new buffs. It's more like a more complex management option - and a hardly accessible one at that: you'd have to build Conflux/Bus, save up buffs (hard thing to do anyway) and spend it on altars. Having altars/caches raise energy pool limits does not generate buffs faster. Also, you pay the energy cost when you make them, energy otherwise spent on buffs. You just can get it back if you want to. Same amount, not more. Which is lost if buff pool is full, anyway.

Options, flexibility, management, right? Or would you rather just have self-buffers self-buff whenever the buff pool permits just to snatch a frag or 2, simply because they don't want it wasted?
