Cutter.... iMovie??? Just find out what format demos are actually in and change the extension. Then load in iMovie et voila.

demo files are in .demo format

And all the conversion sites i have don't convert .demo files, and imovie doesnt read them

Cutter, you made me laugh.

Demos are not video files, they are instructions for the game. When the game follows the instructions, the exact same game can be recreated. Savage is the only program that is able to run these files properly.

The only way to get the footage from a demo or a live game in Savage is to use some kind of screen recording program...which I can't do

Record a demo as you usually would.
then get a program such as "Fraps" which is available in the download section here .
Go watch your recorded demo in savage, and record parts that you like, and would like to use in your movie or what ever.
