S2Games have unveiled some new information about their soon-to-be released game titled Heroes Of Newerth through their Facebook Page. So if you aren't already a member of Facebook, now is a good time to sign up and become a Fan on their Heroes Of Newerth facebook page! Information:What we know so far is that... - It is a Multiplayer game set in the Newerth Post Apocalyptic Universe
- The Beta starts Tuesday May 12th
- Matches are short, so it isn't an MMO, "We just played 2 games in the office" - S2games Staff Member
- Hints have been made that it will be Action RPG
- The game will use the K2 engine used in Savage 2
Concept Art: S2Games has also released a collection of concept art, which can be found here. We will try to keep you updated as frequently as possible over the next few weeks as more information is released.

I don`t like that facebook thing. Just because I use Orkut I cant know the news. Anyways I hope the gameplay is more like savage 1 and less like savage 2.

Marc said that he wanted 1000 fans before making an official announcement withing the s2games.com domain. We still haven't reached 200 so you might want to spam invites to all your friends.
BTW they didn't say it was an Action RPG. They said RPG-ish
You might also want to add "It's using the K2 engine" to the list of things we know.

Looks like the same strategy Offset used for their "A storm is comming" campaign. X ammount of visitors on a page revieled a new screenshot.

I sense another savage 2 like game coming along that will steal all the S1 players... (Savage 2 like as in it completely takes away any of the savage originality.) Imo they should move away from the newerth storyline, it only ever worked for savage 1. |
