I think with a beta the dev want to find bugs and stuff which should be fixed before it will be released. Also they want to hear opinions.

So i ask again where should i post a bug i found.

if the map overheads are wrong : they are not on the mapserver anymore, so they dont get downloaded to the new Sagave XR folder. this is not an xr bug.
solution : copy all the world files from your old savage sep folder to the new savage xr folder. or download all maps manually from newerth ... maybe someone will make a handy mappack?

or just delete them in your xr folder so xr will redownload them form the server if you join a game with that map.  afro

Any news on the Sound Problem?
I also have the same problem with missing or lagging sounds like HAWK_EYE. I increased sound channels to 256, but this didnt improve anything.
I can't play with flux if I can't hear the hit sounds Wink And melee is kinda useless, if I can't hear the block... try playing with sound_masterVolume 0 and you know what I mean Tongue

Have you posted a bug report with details of your hardware so we can fix the issue quicker?

There is a Mac version in development. No one really knows when it might be done though.

What is meant by that is that a few weekends back, I got bored and got a universal build mostly running (played a bit on a ppc machine and some on an intel machine and seemed to be working well).  There is still testing required as well as packaging it and finishing up the updater (just got the gui-less version of it running).  As I do not have the time nor the energy to maintain this port, a maintainer is needed before any release can be made.

What exactly would the maintainer have to do?

Is it simple stuff, or is it something you need a coding background to do?

A maintainer is an experienced C/C++ Coder:
Whenever the Build breaks on Mac OS, he is in charge of repairing it.
So he needs to have a good grasp of how the code interacts with the different libraries we use.
