What started with ten clans became six, then four, then finally two. Huge congratulations to (WW) for beating FOX in the final that couldn't separate either side and had to go into a tie-breaker that settled who would be champion of the Summer Competition.

DeMo recovered from a poor NSL to take third place with a well won victory over DA

Thank you too everyone who participated and helped.

Too make competitions better feedback will be great:
However I'm aware of some peoples dislike of the tiebreaking rules, if you think you have a better solution which is will not drag the competition on and will immediately conclude a match after a draw please speak up.

Least time needed to win the round? That is what Savage is about, attacking, pushing, not turtling, camping and farming monkits for awards Smiley.

Least time needed to win the round?

Something to think about, but what would you propose to do if it was 0-0 draw? Smiley

There are no ties possible. They played it a lot on my HvH server, a very fun and balanced game mode requiring a lot of teamwork (at least on that map)! You get automatically better weapons and units the more redstone you bring back to base. On HvB it is imbalanced though, don't play it.  Tongue

Yeah, and the matches go around 10 minutes in average. So it's an ideal game mode for a tiebreaker after 2 long matches when people would like to go to bed.

Give someone else the job of picking the maps.

Having played 100's of cw's over the years I wouldn't mind helping whoever decides the maps to ensure they aren't shit Cheesy.

Yea, we really need to establish a set maplist for these tournaments and make sure they are all fair maps for both sides/

Give someone else the job of picking the maps.

But that doesn't answer "What would you propose to do if it was a 0-0 draw".

Having played 100's of cw's over the years I wouldn't mind helping whoever decides the maps to ensure they aren't shit Cheesy.
Could do, but tbh someone somewhere will moan about one map Tongue I suppose the alternative would be either competition host picks the maps, or let every participating clan pick up to 30(as an example) maps instead of 10, increasing the likely-hood of more clans choosing the same map.

Cheers!

Something to look at if it ends as a 0-0 draw.
