Early this morning Savage 2 was finally released to the public. Today you can buy the game online and start playing right away. Alternatively you can create a demo account, where you can play the game for 5 hours for free to let you decide upon whether you want to purchase / activate your account. Later today S2Games will upload the retail 1.0.0 patch, the final step in releasing the game.


S2Jesse has also made a new retail gameplay video that you can view on their splash website. It's a little annoying having to watch it every time you visit their site but at least after watching, the majority of people are going to be attracted to the video's selling points, such as the "reasonably" selling price of the game.


Newerth hopes to see you all in game.


EDIT: The Savage 2 retail version 1.0.0 has now been released. We command you to get playing the game now! Also check out the new CGI Savage 2 video here
