Patchnotes 1.3.6

  • New & Improved Fieldcomm panel; a lot more dynamic and user-friendly than the previous one in 1.3.5
  • Improved said Fieldcomm's user-friendliness even more by adding a lot of feedback and checks
  • Possibly fixed an AI bot order/pathing server crash
  • Improved the ignore checking algo
  • Added cvar cl_automaticignores (on by default) for anyone that enjoys playing Savage without having to listen to lowlife undesirables
  • Unified how mining sound effects work for auto attack and normal attack
  • Renamed sv_allowBuildRequests to sv_allowBuildingRequests

As always, feedback and reports are appreciated and help keep XR fresh and functional.

I like that the fieldpanel now shows researched stuff as green, un-aviablable as red and possible as regular. Noticed the names on items also show on mouseover now, good.

Some feedback:

When suggesting things, if you enter a loadoutmenu as a regular player who have just requested something, the request show in the middle of the loadout-menu, like regular requests. I think it would be intuitive if the requests showed on the screen when running around in the world as a player aswell.

Additionally thoughts:
Since its a player requests:
- Does requesting gold in loadoutmenu terminate the ongoing request for tech/buildings you have?
--> Another question to this, worth thinking of is: Should it terminate it?
--> What does the community think?

Hotfix up for lag bug. Sorry for this Tongue. Moving commander functions to field player is not something that has ever been done Tongue. The more players on the server, the worse it would get for everyone. Bug wasn't visible during testing.

Hi

I am having some lag issues recently in combat.

I have spoken to other players having the same problem where ping and fps are stable but there is a definite lag in the game. It is most obvious in combat, even when killing monkits there is a visible stutter in my movement and hits are delayed and there is a lot of hit sounds missing. Everything is basically off  Sad

It is more of a problem with human melee obiously with block timing etc.

I can send a demo if needed, you can see it with monkits but obviously also in pvp combat.

Thanks

Here, hopefully you can open it. Let me know best way to convert if you need diff format.

Can see the stutters on random kills, delayed hits and no sound hits.

This is on an empty server

Thanks

I think I had similar problems before.

There's a network option under System where you can set your connection type. Mine was on ISDN and when I set it to LAN the problem went away. Not sure if we have the same problem or if that was the real solution but it's worth a try Smiley

What was the solution? Rolling back the update? Deactivating?
Also, which AV program are you using?
