Patchnotes 1.3.2

Major:
  • Revamped Auto_Work (aka _auto_attack) feature again
    • Auto_attack and auto_work are now combined, always swinging
    • Mining/Building deals full damage, and can also be used on Grimms Walls
    • However, when aiming at a mine, neutral building, or allied building, the delay between hits is shorter than for combat (thus effectively making it faster for working purposes)
    • The detection leniency (for a valid work target) has been greatly improved to be more comfortable
    • The Options Menu has been adjusted accordingly and a new structure of key binds for attack and work has been made available - check them out!

Minor:
  • Fixed cl_showIndexInUserlist - now actually shows the correct clientIndex (formerly showed a different, less useful, index)
  • Added /callvote movetospec <player>
    • A vote used to send someone to spectator, e.g. afks
    • Can only be voted on by the target's own team
    • The target can refuse the vote, e.g. if he is not actually afk
    • Governed, like all votes, by sv_allowMoveToSpecVotes
    • Use the "lockspec" vote if someone needs to be banished instead
  • /xrinfo command is now filled with a bounty of useful server settings
  • Fixed Chaplain new bonus potion states stacking in some cases
  • Improved usability and fixed some Continuous Attack problems
  • R and PGUP keys no long get reset each time the GUI is loaded


As always, we appreciate feedback and reports.
This is the second draft of the new Auto Work feature and it is also up for potential improvements, adjustments, and alternative changes.

First of all, thank you for the update!

Auto-attack seems lovely right now although I haven't had the chance to extensively test it. However when attacking grimms we get the auto-mine effect, attacking it faster. I'm not sure if that's a good thing although I'm not sure if it's a bad thing either Smiley

You auto-mine flags.

MovetoSpec should have a lower threshold (I'm not sure how that's called) at 50% I think.
When I tried to movetospec myself I could do it in warmup however when the game starts I get the message that "You can't switch teams while on the field".
Is there a way to disallow yourself from calling to vote on yourself?

It's intentional. :p
But depending on feedback and wishes, I can change it to be exempt.

Well, yes, but why did you try that? Grin
Works on any neutral and allied buildings (as I can't predict which ones may need it in the future).

It's at 60% right now, and only votable by the affected team.
It can be lowered (or increased), but give it some time to test first.

If I code it, yes, but I don't see a need to.
People already kick themselves intentionally, this wouldn't be much different.

edit: click to respawn does not work if continuous attack is bound to mouse
edit2: weapons and items where you have to hold mouse (charging/repeating weapons/items),seem to not work right with continuous attack bound to mouse
edit3: auto attack/continuous attack should stop if you enter a building/shrine/bus

I had the idea when you said it works on neutral buildings Smiley I was testing it on kinixxx and there's a flag right next to grimms there

Not sure what to do about it, you're hitting a mine after all! Stone on metal makes sounds Tongue. They're embedded in the animation.

edit: click to respawn does not work if continuous attack is bound to mouse
edit2: weapons and items where you have to hold mouse (charging/repeating weapons/items),seem to not work right with continuous attack bound to mouse
edit3: auto attack/continuous attack should stop if you enter a building/shrine/bus

I've made some changes, can you check each situation yourself again? Thanks.

Not sure what to do about it, you're hitting a mine after all! Stone on metal makes sounds Tongue. They're embedded in the animation.
I'm contemplating making some changes to this, but the decision as into which direction hasn't been made yet.

From that I've noticed:
1. If you die when auto attack is on it will 'press L by itself' / 'goes back into loadout screen by itself'.
2. If you die when it's off you will keep laying on the ground.

+It works for specs, and if you click it you start scrolling through clients like crazeh.

Indeed, there were no major patches yet, and now that all the major stuff is fixed and working as intended, I've stopped spamming people with the constant need to patch tiny stuff.
